Stupid Hulu
Hulu has been showing me commercials for engagement rings. Doesn't their data collection algorithm know that I've been frequenting OKCupid? I could understand them not understanding that I wouldn't buy a ridiculous thing like a diamond since that's not easily discernible by data collecting bots, but it seems like a huge waste of money on their part for someone who is obviously single. The account is linked to my Facebook profile, for cryin' out loud!
Ugh, the couples in those ads are so nauseating. It's like the only thing that makes a woman say yes is a giant shiny rock whose price is artificially inflated through cultural value. Diamonds are for drill bits and saw blades!
